Thank you for visiting the Fairhaven Golf Club website and welcome to our Professional Shop.

Being the resident Professional at a club steeped in the history of the game is an absolute privilege and I try to provide a service that compliments the lofty standard set by our course.

My staff and I take great pride in offering both members and visitors alike a first class experience every time you step over the threshold. If we can ensure that you walk away from the shop knowing more than you did before you arrived or just simply looking forward to the challenge of the links then we consider our job done.

Andrew Lancaster - Head Professional

I turned Pro in 1985 and was incredibly fortunate to be able to hone my skills working for a man I still consider the archetypal Club Professional. Seven years on, having served my apprenticeship at two of England's best golf courses whilst working for Mr. Birchenough, I became a Club Professional in my own right. This is where my search for the 'Total Golf' experience began and twenty years later I am still hunting for the elusive element that enhances our passion for the game.

The Team

My wife Jo (aka The Boss) is the shop manager and she is the main reason for our eye-catching layout and selection of Ladies/Gents clothing. When she cracks the whip we dance with our dusters and hoover! Her years of experience in retail and customer service make her an invaluable member of the team and anything you require is never too much bother.

Philip is a fully qualified member of the PGA and Simon is in the middle of training. They are both accomplished talkers and nothing would please them more than to show off their knowledge of all things golf (if you give them the opportunity). They are a terrific help with our Junior development programmes and are rapidly expanding their 'Total Golf' expertise.
